"Rain or Shine Theatre Company" is based in Gloucester, England.

It was formed in 1997 as a new U.K. based professional touring theatre company.

Rain or Shine's directors originated from the management of another locally well known touring troupe of players in the Gloucestershire area, the 'Festival Players Theatre Company', which has undertaken successful national outdoor Shakespeare tours since 1993.

Rain or Shine's managing director, Jayne Meekings, was producer, costume designer and actress with the players from 1993 to 1997, when the company split.

Ken, her husband, now works alongside her as technician, and in both administrating and marketing roles.

	Soon after its launch, Rain or Shine became incorporated as a non profit making private company 'limited by guarantee' and is delighted to welcome as members many of the highly talented actors from the players former productions, which combined with the wealth of backstage, marketing and admin. skills is a guaranteed recipe for success.
	The company's mission is to 'entertain and educate at an affordable price through the medium of classical theatre'.
